At the end of the course the student will gain a basic understanding of the clinical and epidemiological sides of disease control and eradication
Prerequisiti
Students are expected to have a general knowledge of clinical microbiology, and the main microrganisms (viruses, bacteria, parasites). Notions about the life cycles of the most important parasites causing human disease (e.g.Malaria, Amebiasis, Schistosomiasis) should be recalled from the Clinical Microbiology course.
