The course will focus on the pathophysiology of male and female infertility and on assisted reproductive techniques. In particular, the endocrinological, genetic/epigenetic, immunological aspects of couple infertility will be discussed. Detailed insights into some diagnostic tests, such as semen analysis, IVF and ET technologies will be provided. At the end, students will acquire basic knowledge in Reproductive Medicine, including assisted reproductive techniques and related laboratory tests/analyses.

Basic Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, Genetic, Immunity.

Verifica Apprendimento
Written exam with themed open questions. Time is one hour. Expository clarity and completeness of the contents are assessed. The evaluation of the Human Reproduction module is out of thirty.
