Prerequisiti
The course has no prerequisites but will benefit from some familiarity with rudiments in developmental psychology, social psychology and cognitive neuroscience.
Metodi didattici
The course will adopt a variety of teaching methods to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.
Each lecture will combine a lecturing component and a flipped classroom component. During the flipped class component, small groups of 2 to 4 students will prepare a presentation and lead a discussion on a recent scientific paper on adolescence social development. A maximum of 2 points will be awarded to each presenter, to be summed to the mark of the exam.
There will be no differentiation of the curriculum between attending and non-attending students. All students will have the opportunity to access the course content. However, especially because of the journal club component of the course, students are strongly encouraged to attend.
