Il museo incontra la città

The Museum meets the city The Natural History Museum of the University of Pavia delivers to the citizens a wide range of events outside the museum building. The Museum is well aware that there are several kind of visitors with different needs and knowledge. An ineluctable and unavoidable contact with the people, to be met and pursued with attractive initiatives and new points of view to the Museum itself. From autumn 2016 to summer 2017 the Museum has undertaken, on the basis of requests expressed by the loyal public, a strategy of connection with the non-university reality to strengthen its presence on the territory. Themed openings, dedicated events and proposals outside the physical walls of the Museum have attracted hundreds of visitors, despite the introduction of a ticket, demonstrating the winning force of leaving the ivory tower and making the museum available to the public.
