Gilsangsa Temple in Seoul, Corea Un esempio di rigenerazione paesaggistica e funzionale

The history of the Korean peninsula tells of very complex events marked by phenomena of political and cultural colonization that have strongly contrasted the identity of this territory. Only after the Second World War, the division of territory and the tragic Korean War, the Republic of Korea, or South Korea, began an interesting process of modernization that in a few years allowed the country to emerge from the main world powers. Today the Republic of Korea is an important economic and commercial power. However, the events of recent times are demonstrating that the geopolitical situation is always very complex. Within this complex historical and political framework, however, an interesting cultural dialogue opens up on the topic of the preservation and valorization of religious heritage, especially Buddhist, also with the creation of new temples and the regeneration of new cultural landscapes. He will investigate the case of Gilsangsa Temple in Seoul.
