Abstract:
Previous studies have indicated
the importance of total serum and
cord IgE detection in newborns as a risk
factor for future allergy development.
However, no study revealed a correlation
in the two measures. The aim of the study
was to investigate such a correlation and
the relationship of total IgE between mothers
and newborns.
