Some density result for curves with nonsimple Jacobians

Consider the moduli space of principally polarized abelian varieties of dimension g. Denote by Sk the subset consisting of those abelian varieties which contain a subvariety of dimension k. The purpose of this paper is to study the density of certain Sk in some subvarieties of the Jacobian locus Mg.
