Lower bounds for the solutions to the Kac and the Boltzmann equation.

We prove that the solution of the space homogeneus Boltzmann
equation is bounded from below by an exponential. The proof is
given for the Kac equation and for the Boltzmann equation in the case of Maxwell pseudo-molecules, but it can be adapted to the case of cut-off potentials.
