Abstract:
Therapeutic drug monitoring of
cyclosporine A (CyA) blood concentrations
is needed to ensure therapeutic
efficacy and to prevent toxicity, because
it exhibits marked pharmacokinetic variability
and, in the case of high concentrations,
a dose reduction is required.
