Abstract:
The thermal behaviour of large-ring cyclodextrins (water loss followed by melting with decomposition at temperatures higher 250 °C) resembles that of alfa-, beta- and gamma-cyclodextrins. The shape of DSC dehydration endotherm makes it possible to descriminate betweena epsilon cyclodextrin .19 H2O and delta cyclodextrin . 13,75 H2O.
