Abstract:
Since headache is a frequent complaint in clinical practice, its burden in terms both of social costs and
of individual suffering is considerable. Headache is a frequent cause of absence from work and reduced
productivity; it is therefore clear that the investigation of its possible relationship with working conditions
is an area of growing interest for the scientific community. The aim of this study was to identify
specific occupational factors that may play an important role in the development of headache, even in
the presence of a number of other professional risk factors.
