Sodium dodecyl sulphate solutions to test the dissolution behaviour of sustained release formulations containing an insoluble drug: nifedipine

In this study we consider some different approaches to analyze the in vitro dissolution behaviour of different dosage forms containing nifedipine. The results show that sodium dodecyl sulphate concentrations from 0,50 to 1,00 % are able to dissolve the drug content in all the dosage forms tested.
