Aims of the course are to teach the basic principles of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, to describe the organization of the relevant facilities and of the interprofessional team. The student will learn to evaluate and treat some diseases frequently causing disability and requiring rehabilitation.

The student must know the basis of anatomy, physics, physiology and pathophysiology
Teaching Methods
The course is based on lectures given with PowerPoint presentations, projected on screen. Teaching material can be added for in-depth study of the course topics. Practice is not part of the course.
Assessment Methods
Written exam made of 15 questions with multiple choice answers. Only one possible answer is correct. The total score ranges from 0 to 30. Correction is made just after the test and immediately communicated to the students.
