The purpose of the 4th year internship is to teach students how to approach patients with specific pathologies. Learn how to pose diagnostic hypotheses, analyze test and procedure results, diagnose specific clinical conditions, and learn about treatment. At the end of the internship the student will be able to identify the main problems of a patient, propose a diagnostic procedure, carry out the differential diagnosis of pathologies with similar symptoms and make the diagnosis also indicating the potential treatment

Teaching Methods
Participation in the clinical activity of the departments attended, meetings with staff with discussion of clinical cases, participation in procedures and surgical interventions, viewing and discussion of laboratory tests
Assessment Methods
The student will undergo short tests with clinical cases and multiple choice questions or will have to discuss with the tutor a clinical case among those evaluated during the internship through which learning and participation in the internship will be evaluated

Contents
The student will attend at least 4 different departments including medical and surgical departments. He will participate in the clinical activity of the department, developing the ability to talk to the patient, identify his main and secondary problems, ask for laboratory tests. He will carry out clinical meetings with the staff, he will be taught to take a medical history, to verify the alterations of the biochemical tests and of the main diagnostic procedures required in the departments attended.
