This course gives students a foundation for understanding dermatologic diseases which directly affect the oral and para-oral structures as well as precancerous and cancerous lesions of the oral cavity

Contents
By the completion of this course, the student will,
1. Acquire adequate knowledge of elementary skin and mucosal lesions.
2. be able to describe the etiology and characteristic features of inflammatory and neoplastic diseases involving the oral cavity including apthosis, viral enanthemas, infectious lesions, autoimmune bullous diseases (cicatricial pemphygoid, pemphygous vulgaris), neoplastic lesions
Fundamental knowledge of the management of neoplastic lesions of oral cavity, icnluding squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, erythroplakia, leukoplakia
Basic Knowledge of the most common dermatologic conditions with muco-cutaneous manifestations
