Assessment Methods

The course is divided into four different units:
Otorhinolaryngology;
Special odontostomatological surgery;
Maxillo-facial surgery;
Plastic surgery.
The student must undertake an oral exam for each of the three units’ subject.
The exam is an oral test based on the topics reported in the program, for whose studying both lectures and text books must be referred to. The oral examination must consider a complete presentation of a topic or a clinical case, organized in a logical order, from general to particular, based on solid concepts, speaking a grammatically and syntactically correct Italian and a technically adeguate language.
The final grade is obtained through the arithmetic mean of the three oral tests, rounding up or down.
