Syllabus

Course Objectives

To provide the student with information on the concept of anchorage in orthodontics, from the definition, to the classification of orthodontic anchorage methods up to the implications and clinical applications, with reference to TADs (temporary anchorage devices). Special attention will be paid to TADs (temporary anchorage devices).

Course Prerequisites

Understanding the topics covered in the course requires that the student has acquired basic knowledgeS of orthognathodontic diagnosis and therapy taught respectively in the ORTHODONTICS 1 and ORTHODONTICS courses.

Teaching Methods

Frontal lessons spread over two mornings. Great emphasis will be given to the discussion of clinical cases to verify the learning of the course contents
