-The course aims to make the students aware of the basic topics of Forensic Medicine, in particular the essential knowledge to any non-specialist doctor in Forensic Medicine. The lessons will mainly focus on diagnosis and certification of death and post-death phenomena, elements of criminal and civil law and medical professional liability, and elements of criminal and civil procedure. Students will be educated on the principles of thanatology, which are essential for carrying out any specialty of the medical profession.
