Aims of the course are to teach the basic principles of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, to describe the organization of the relevant facilities and of the interprofessional team. The student will learn to evaluate and treat some diseases frequently causing disability and requiring rehabilitation.
Course Prerequisites
The student must know the basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechemistry.
Teaching Methods
The course is based on lessons with PowerPoint presentations, integrated by independent study of suggested texts or articles. At the end of the lesson, questions and discussion are encouraged.
Assessment Methods
Written exam made of 15 questions with multiple choice. The global score ranges from 0 to 30. Students who reach the evaluation of 30/30 at the written examination may ask for an oral examination to reach the evaluation of 30 lode.
