Music and music therapy are founded on neuroscientific and psychological bases that make possible the achievement of therapeutic-rehabilitative aims. The lectures aimed at introducing the topic concerning the use of music and music therapy as interventions in the rehabilitative field. In particular the Course will focus on music and music therapy approaches complementary to rehabilitative and phisycal activity and to occupational therapy. The contents presented during the Course will be the following: - Neuroscientific and psychological bases of music and music therapy techniques used in the clinical field - Music and music therapy approaches definition - Experiences with music in the neuromotor rehabilitation and occupational therapy - Clinical examples - Scientific literature - Research perspectives
