The main course objective is to provide an in-depth knowledge of the regulations about health and safety on construction sites and the use of work equipment. At the end of the course, students will have to be able to face and manage risk situations for workers on construction sites and using work equipment
Course Prerequisites
A basic knowledge of the concepts of risk and danger, prevention and protection, health and safety in the workplace and knowledge of Title I of Legislative Decree 81/08 is required.
Teaching Methods
Frontal lessons through the use of Power Point presentations that will be made available to students in the section dedicated to teaching on the KIRO moodle platform. Furthermore, practical case studies will be analysed
Assessment Methods
Learning is verified through a written exam consisting of open-ended or multiple choice questions the duration of the test is about 1 hour. The evaluation criteria will take into account the degree of knowledge of the subject, and the ability to establish logical connections between the topics.
