Purpose of the course is the presentation of the basic and clinical principles of the surgical treatment of endocrine diseases . At the end of the course the student should be able to recognize an endocrine disease requiring surgical treatment.
Course Prerequisites
The course completes the Endocrinology course. The surgical indications of the endocrine diseases will be presented and treated during this course. The student should be familiar with the anatomy and the physiology of the endocrine glans and system
Teaching Methods
The course is based on frontal lessons (in presence, in mixed form or online, based on the necessity), with projection of slides and videos.
Assessment Methods
The exam is a multiple choice written test with 30 questions (only one answer is correct). The student has 30 minutes to complete the test. The questions are based on the arguments treated during the lessons.If, for any reason, the written exam cannot be performed, it is possible to organize an oral exam online
