At the end of the course, students should have learned and understood how genetic engineering can be put to use to elucidate fundamental question in Plant physiology.
Course Prerequisites
It is required the knowledge of the contents of the courses of Botany and especially of Biochemistry in particular of protein, carbohydrates and lipid chemistry, enzymology, respiratory metabolism, redox reactions
Teaching Methods
The course will involve the use frontal lessons supported by interactive methods like case-studies, simulations and brainstorming.
Assessment Methods
Written exam consisting of an additional question to the rest of the module relative to the topics discussed hereby.
