The aim of the course is to integrate the program of Mathematical Analysis of the first year and complete the basic knowledges of mathematical analysis for students of a bachelor degree in Physics.
Course Prerequisites
The basics of the courses Analisi Matematica 1, Complementi di Analisi Matematica 1 and Algebra Lineare of the first year.
Teaching Methods
Lectures and classroom exercises
Assessment Methods
The exam consists of a written test and of an oral examination on the arguments specified in the program. The written test aims at checking the level of understanding of the theoretic and computational techniques developed in the course and the ability of solving a mathematical problem. The oral examination (whose access is restricted to those with a sufficient score in the written examination), completes the written one and aims at verifying the full understanding of the theory. The final grade will be determined by considering the overall breadth and depth of learning, as well as the clarity of presentation and the problem-solving skills demonstrated.
