Assessment Methods
In reference to the theoretical contents, exercises and teaching material provided during the course teaching, students must be able to develop a "draft manuscript" through a group work. Specifically, “draft manuscript” means defining in a manner preliminary the contents of each section that characterizes a scientific publication according to the IMRAD method: introduction, materials/methods, results, discussions and conclusions. Students will be able to choose, based on their interest, a topic from those proposed in the classroom (n= eight current public health topics investigated via survey in classroom) to be able to practice scientific writing. The preferences expressed by the students, they will lead the formation of the working groups. Each working group can be made up of maximum 5 students, depending on the number of sections of a "draft manuscript" on which work. The working group will have to work synergistically in the definition and structuring of the "draft manuscript", the latter may be written in English and/or Italian (as chosen by the group Work). However, each member of the group will be responsible for writing a specification section of the work (definition of each author's contribution). In this sense, specify with the initials of your name and surname (for example Mario Rossi, MR) the section of your own responsibility.
