The student will be able to learn the main concepts of Tissue Engineering and Nanomedicine. The laboratory activity is used to provide students with experimental settings in the previously indicated research areas.

Theoretical lectures through power point presentations and laboratory activities
Assessment Methods
The exam will be a multiple-choice essay format. The test is considered passed with a grade of NO less than 18/30. Appropriate testing arrangements will be made for students who fall within the categories of Specific Learning Disabilities (SAD) and Special Educational Needs (SED).
-First part of the course is devoted to tissue engineering: General introduction, Important Terminology and Concepts, Introduction to Tissue Engineering, Cells for Tissue Engineering, Biomaterials for Tissue Engineering, Tissue Fabrication Technology, Bioreactors for Tissue Engineering, Tracheal Tissue Engineering -Second part devoted to nanomedicine: A Brief Historical Perspective, Nanomaterial Introduction, Nanomaterials in Regenerative Medicine
