The Course aims at providing a wide panorama of the main environmental management topics, adopting both a legal and economic perspective. Lessons will give to the students the opportunity to develop autonomous in dept analisys on selected topics.
Course Prerequisites
Basic elements of the European integration process and of microeconomic theory (market equlibrium, market failure, externalities and public goods)
Teaching Methods
- Frontal lessons from academicians, civil servants and business representatives - Presentation and discussion of case studies
Assessment Methods
Final dissertation on one of the topics investigated during the frontal lessons. Students must display an autonomous capacity to re-elaborate concepts and topics examined during the course. Non attending students should agree with the teacher for a supplementary programme.
