The course aims to increase the awareness of students regarding transversal skills, useful for learning and in managing career and life paths and increasingly requested in the professional world. The course is divided into theoretical, laboratory and application meetings with the aim of leading students to be able to identify their own strengths and weaknesses, skills, competences, interests, needs and motivations, in order to better understand which individual "talent" of each can find fulfillment in future professional profiles. The path accompanies students to make conscious and effective decisions, with positive consequences not only in the context of university education but also in personal life and career. The expected results are a development of the talent of the participants through a talent development path based on the adoption of the DOTS (Decision Learning, Opportunity Awareness Transition Learning Self-Awareness theoretical model through the dimension of psychological capital (PSYCAP). Furthermore, there is the possibility that some participants from previous editions, once they have entered the job market, may be involved as testimonials in order to create a virtuous synergy with the University of Pavia.

No specific prerequisites but only a strong motivation by taking an active part
Teaching Methods
The course is conducted with interactive lectures, practical exercises, case studies and testimonies by representatives from the world of work and experts The lectures will be face-to-face and the course content and materials slides, articles and other tools are present and downloadable from the KIRO IT platform The syllabus and assessment methods will be differentiated between attending and non-attending students.
Assessment Methods
There are no exams but an assessment of eligibility. Participation will allow you to achieve eligibility on the basis of attendance and assessed the production of a paper and the presentation of an individual design of a personal development and career plan. The course is recognized as an open badge For non-attending students is ompulsory assessment will take the form of an oral examination on one of two recommended texts
