The course for the neuroradiological medical application part aims to provide knowledge on the use of CT and MR imaging in daily practice, addressing the various neurological pathologies and specific dedicated imaging techniques. It will also delve into the clinical needs in the application of AI in everyday use. Knowledge of the characteristics, limits and advantages of all neuroradiological investigation techniques and the use of radiological instruments and investigation methodologies to be adopted based on the specific clinical question. Good level of critical ability to analyze and interpret data also in the field of AI.
Course Prerequisites
Knowledge of the physical basis of the radiological equipment, therefore of the mode of operation and use of computerized tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and X-ray equipment
Teaching Methods
Frontal lessons, also with teaching cases
Assessment Methods
Written exam with multiple choice quiz with only one correct choice. and potential open questions on a scientific article chosen by the candidate. There are 20 questions, each question has a value of 1,5 points. The exam lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes. The evaluation of the test is carried out out of thirty. The questions ask the student to indicate the meaning of concepts or define the meaning of specific terms, aimed at verifying the understanding of the concepts and terminology used during the lessons. During the lessons, several examples of exam questions are presented.
