The course aims to provide students with knowledge of the main tools and methods of study relating to discipline, and to expand the canon of authors and texts covered during the 1st degree courses (Laurea triennale) of Italian Literature.
Course Prerequisites
Have acquired at least 18 CFU in Italian Literature or in other related sectors, in the opinion of the teacher, in relation to the program carried out, during the three-year undergraduate degree. Students who have fewer than 18 CFU will have an additional program.
Teaching Methods
Face-to-face lectures; seminar lectures; preparatory lectures for the general part.
Assessment Methods
Oral examination. The examination verifies: 1) a thorough knowledge of nineteenth-century literature, from Monti to D'Annunzio; 2) knowledge of fundamental historical-critical data and the ability to analyze the two chosen works, and the content of the two related critical essays. 3) knowledge of the content of the lessons in both modules.
