Have acquired the fundamentals of film history and the basics of audiovisual language.

Oral interviews regarding the reference texts and lectures. Evaluation of the documentary screenplay produced during the course.

The course aims to provide students with the fundamental tools for making a documentary in all its phases (writing, production, post-production). Particular attention will be paid to analyzing the linguistic varieties that characterize documentary filmmaking and its intrinsic experimental nature.
