The course aims to provide students with the first fundamentals of management and entrepreneurship. Starting from the analysis of the role of the enterprise in modern industrial systems. Students will acquire the necessary knowledge to understand how exogenous and endogenous factors influence the actions of the enterprise, They will be able to apply theoretical notions to real situations by evaluating possible alternatives. They will be able to communicate with a technical language specific to the managerial context
Course Prerequisites
No special prerequisites are required. For the most complete understanding of the proposed topics, knowledge of the notions taught in the basic courses of the first semester such as Business Economics and Institutions of Private Law is recommended.
Teaching Methods
In addition to the more traditional lectures, will be proposed external interventions, in the form of seminars, and working group on business management topics that will be carried out together with tutors and then presented in the classroom. the contents and calendar of seminars and of the team assignments will be defined at the beginning of the course and then published on the page of the course on the KIRO platform (e-learning). Slides and PP presentations will be used during classroom activities.
Assessment Methods
Written exam- four open-ended questions aimed at verifying both the acquired notional knowledge and the ability to detect possible implications at business level. Evaluation scale: (0-30). It is possible to assign Honors. Each question is evaluated in thirtieths and the final result is the average of the evaluations attributed to the four questions During the exam, the use of support material is not permitted. The result of the exam is communicated via Esse3. and the acceptance or rejection of the grade must occur according to the current University teaching regulations The teacher reserves the right to make the oral exam mandatory in particular cases, even individual ones.
