The course covers classical mechanics and thermodynamics. The aim is to provide the students with the basic knowledge which is required for the comprehension of fundamental physical phenomena and to devolop their skills in tackling easy problems in a quantitative and rational way.
Course Prerequisites
Written and oral comprehension of Italian language. Basics of algebra, analytical geometry, and calculus.
Teaching Methods
Class lectures and exercises.
Assessment Methods
Written test including the answer to questions and the quantitative resolution of problems. During the written test it is not allowed to use calculators, texts and notes. The evaluation is made known to the student through the ESSE3 platform. Possible oral examination subject to the decision of the examining board.
