Syllabus

Course Objectives

Acquisition of the concepts of Applied Biology useful for understanding the cellular mechanisms as a starting point for the study of other fields such as Anatomy, Physiology, et al

Course Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry as acquired from High School studies

Teaching Methods

Lectures: powerpoint presentations plus on-line animations

Assessment Methods

Written final test: 11/13 questions (answer: true / false) and 2/3 open questions. Voting of the module will be the proportional sum of the scores obtained expressed as n/30 (in ex: 15 questions, 6 points for each question, total exact answers points: 81/90, vote 27). The Voting of the Integrated Course will be the weighted average with the scores obtained in the other modules of the "Corso Integrato".
