Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course aims to provide the student with the cognitive and methodological tools necessary for:
Human anatomy
Understanding the overall morphology of the various anatomical structures;
Understanding the macroscopic and microscopic structure of the individual devices;
Understanding how the various systems;
Correlate the equipment in a general functional scheme;
Apply the acquired knowledge in the understanding of the main dysfunctions following congenital or acquired alterations of the organ anatomy, through references of clinical anatomy.

At the end of the course the student will have to:
To know the organization of human anatomy;
To know the morphology and the seat of the organs of the different apparatuses;
Know and relate the organ functions also according to the main diseases.

Course Prerequisites

Basic knowledge in the biological field

Teaching Methods

Lectures through the use of animation supports, and image diagnostics. Description of pathological pictures referable to anatomical involvement.

Assessment Methods

The exam consists of a written test using an MTC test carried out via the Kirotesting platform. For this reason it will be necessary to show up with your own laptop/tablet. Further information on this matter will be sent to members in good time.

The test integrated with the Physiology teaching includes 30 questions (15 per teaching) with 4 possible answers, each question has only one correct answer. The time available for delivery is 35 minutes.

For those who are entitled to it, and ONLY upon notification by the delegated offices, the same test will be available plus the assigned times.

The test is considered passed with a number of correct answers of no less than 18/30.

The evaluation of the response occurs according to the following criterion:
1 point for each correct answer
0 point for each incorrect or missing answer

The arithmetic mean with the remaining courses of the course will contribute to the formulation of the final grade.

If the test is passed, the student can decide to take the oral exam. In this case the evaluation of the writing will not be taken into consideration.

There are no drop-offs and, unless otherwise specified by the teacher, the program consists of the topics covered during the course.

If the course is not completed by 31 December with the passing of the two courses, any partial tests already taken and passed will be forfeited.

Those who are not regularly registered on the esse3 platform within the expected time frame will NOT be admitted to the exam. It is recommended not to limit yourself to simply registering for the exam, but to check after a few hours and in any case before the deadline expires, that this has actually been registered. This is particularly valid when the telephone app is used, since in in some cases the booking, even if there are no reports of malfunction, may not be successful, with consequent exclusion from the exam.
