Syllabus

Course Objectives

At the end of the course the student must have acquired in-depth knowledge of the neuro and psychomotor evolution of the child with typical development: he will be able to observe and describe the typical development in the different age groups, paying attention to the motor, sensorial, affective, relational and communicative aspects. -linguistic, cognitive of autonomy and socialization

Course Prerequisites

understanding the topics covered in the module requires the student to be in possession of the introductory and general notions taught in high school on the human and social sciences which allow the student to understand the mechanisms underlying the construction of each individual's identity, of social relations and educational processes; furthermore, the knowledge of philosophy always taught in high school is useful for the development of personal reflection, critical judgment and the aptitude for in-depth analysis

Teaching Methods

the teaching makes use of frontal lessons using slides and active participation of the students in the neuro and psychomotor observation through video recording of children with typical development with the guidance of the teacher who assists them in compiling tables showing the chronology of acquisition of the various functional appointments of the child's development

Assessment Methods

learning is verified through a written exam consisting of 2 types of questions:
-true/false multiple choice questions to test the student's ability to answer specific questions relating to the acquisition of functional developmental appointments of the child in different age groups
-open questions that require an in-depth description of the different topics covered, aimed at verifying the ownership of language, clarity of presentation, ability to synthesize, understanding of theoretical concepts.
During the lessons, examples of exam questions, the judging criteria for passing the test and the methods and timing of the written and oral exam are presented.
The duration of the written exam is two hours, the evaluation is carried out out of thirty and passing it allows access to the oral exam
The results of the written test are provided to the student by the teacher after 3 days and the oral test is carried out 1 week after the date of administration of the written test. the homework is returned by meeting the individual students in the time interval between the written and oral exam for those who have not passed the test and during the oral exam for those who have instead passed the test.
