At the end of each laboratory session the student will be able to: 1) Search databases Access the most used databases in the scientific/nursing field 2) Reading scientific article Recognize the main scientific sources: guidelines 3) Discussion and written elaboration of care situations related to care needs: Identify the care problem and the most appropriate nursing interventions, based on a specific compromised need (1. Eating and drinking 2. Moving and maintaining a correct position) . 4) Role-playing: given a care situation, ascertain and define the need, at the end of the laboratory the student will have to ascertain, based on the simulated situation in the home or outpatient setting presented by the actors, the compromised needs of the healthy person or person in risk condition , educational interventions aimed at the person For care situations: the student will be able, in a home or outpatient care situation, to carry out the assessment of the healthy person or in a risk situation, ascertain the compromised or potentially compromised needs based on the knowledge acquired in classroom and to promote simple educational and health promotion interventions according to the knowledge acquired in the classroom.
Course Prerequisites
The laboratory is a form of compulsory teaching activity that accompanies the student from the first year of the course and is aimed at the acquisition of cognitive, methodological and relational skills. The activities planned for the laboratory activity of the first year are aimed at enabling the student to acquire, together with the simulated and professionalising internship, specific skills of professional interest which, in an increasing manner, will accompany and guide him in the learning path over the three years of the course . The contents of the courses characterizing MED45 of the first and second semester are preparatory to the laboratory training activities and the student is required to attend 100% of the professionalizing laboratories designed
