At the end of the course the student will have to know the specific topics of pain medicine and its application: the etiopathogenetic diagnosis, the measurement of pain, the treatment with specialized methods of the most common painful syndromes and some "particular" therapies such as acupuncture and ozone therapy.
Course Prerequisites
The student must have acquired basic knowledge regarding the Anatomy and Physiology modules. The student must have attended the lessons of the basic and specialist subjects (SSD-MED45) of the first and second year of the course

The teaching material, slides produced by the teacher, can be found by the student on the Kiro Platform
Assessment Methods
The test includes a written test with ten closed questions, only one correct question. Each question is worth three points. The test is considered passed with a result of 18/30. The test will be carried out on the Unipv Kiro platform, the student will have the result as soon as the test is completed.
