The course is aimed at understanding topics relating to the formation of healthcare organizations and their management, the determination of quality and its maintenance and the identification and management of clinical risk from a nursing point of view. The Course will refer to the nursing skills identified by the Tuning Educational Structures in Europe Project which, in the 2nd year of the course, include: knowledge and understanding, ability to apply knowledge and understanding, independent judgment, communication skills and learning skills. At the end of the course, the student must be able to interpret clinical care situations in light of the fundamentals of work organization, respect for the quality of processes and results and management of clinical risk, know the organizational care models and know how to identify and use the different existing integration tools.
Course Prerequisites
The knowledge required and recommended at the entrance refers to the characterising Nursing and Organisational disciplines: General Nursing and Nursing Theories, Clinical Nursing I, Clinical Nursing II, Medical-Surgical Clinical Nursing, Specialist Clinical Nursing, Interdisciplinary Sciences and Professional Organisation.
Teaching Methods
Frontal lessons held by the teacher with the support of slides. Film projections. Analysis of care situations related to the care issues presented.
Assessment Methods
.The final assessment includes a written test in the form of a test with multiple-choice questions. Students with DSA certified and recognized by the SAISD Center of Unipv will be able to take advantage of the compensatory measures recognized to them. Please remember that the teaching of "Methodology of organization of care processes" belongs to the Integrated Course of RESEARCH AND QUALITY OF NURSING CARE, essential, together with the other prerequisites set out in the Teaching Regulations, to access the Internship exam and, therefore, the following year.
