To know social, psychological, cognitive and biological aspects of aging. Knowledge of the most frequent and characteristic pathologies of old age, in particular cognitive and motor, and their methods of evaluation and diagnosis. Knowledge of the modalities of atypical presentation of common diseases in the elderly.
Course Prerequisites
Understanding the topics covered requires knowledge of human anatomy and physiology and the main medical and surgical diseases.

Lessons in the classroom with slide support.
Assessment Methods
Learning assessment is achieved through a written test consisting of 13 questions/quizzes with a single correct answer and one open-ended question. Correct answers to the quizzes are worth 2 points; incorrect or missing answers are worth 0 points. To pass the test, a score of 18/30 is required. The answer to the open-ended question is worth a maximum of 4 points and is evaluated based on content, appropriateness, completeness, and language. Failure to complete the open-ended question will result in a score of -1. To pass the test, a score of 18/30 is required.
