Learn about the historical evolution of nursing in psychiatry. Understanding the role of the Nurse in the different Services of the D.S.M.D. Recognize the needs to plan and implement personalized treatment and rehabilitation in a team. Develop interpersonal skills, establishing an effective relationship, applying the techniques of De-Escalation.
Course Prerequisites
The knowledge required and recommended for entry refers to the contents of the characterizing disciplines of the 1st year. Basic knowledge of the disciplines related to anatomy and physiology, general and clinical pathology, microbiology and immunology is required. The student must also have attended the Preparatory Courses of Clinical Medical Surgical Nursing.

Assessment Methods
The oral examination will focus on the discussion of a clinical treatment, using the case-method approach. A grade ranging from 18/30 to 30/30 will be assigned, with the possibility of honors. Students with SLD certified and recognized by the SAISD Center of Unipv will be able to take advantage of the compensatory measures recognized to them.
