Study of the performance of HPGe detectors in very high magnetic fields

abstract:
An HPGe detector has been calibrated and tested in a magnetic field of intensity ranging from zero to 2.5 T. This is the highest magnetic field never tested for this kind of detectors. The results show the feasibility of gamma spectroscopy in very high magnetic fields.
