At the successful conclusion of this module, you should be able to demonstrate the following module level learning outcomes (MLOs):
MLO.1 Knowledge & Understanding • Describe the body’s organization and key skeletal-muscular structures. • Explain relationships among bones, joints, muscles, and innervation. • Describe the integumentary system (skin, dermis, skin appendages). • Describe the lymphatic system and the organs associated (lymphnodes, thymus, bone marrow, spleen).
MLO.2 Application of Knowledge • Identify anatomical structures and regions in models and images. • Apply knowledge to explain basic movements and nerve patterns. MLO.3 Autonomy of Judgement • Distinguish normal from variant anatomy in visual or descriptive material. MLO.5 Learning Skills • Use learning resources to strengthen spatial understanding.

Metodi didattici
Teaching methods include lectures, discussion and guided independent study. Lectures present key concepts (supports LO.1, LO.2) and include interactive discussion of clinical areas and research themes (supports LO.2-3). Teaching will include guidance to help you prepare for the exam (supports LO.5) and throughout you will be presented with references to further readings and other materials on the e-learning platform to support your development (supports LO.5). Teaching on this course is enhanced by our visiting Professors, international experts, who will provide seminars on clinical and research areas (LO.3)

This module is focused on the musculoskeletal structures and anatomy of integumentary and lymphatic system. Following an introduction of the module is structured into the following thematic sections: Back and Thorax; Abdomen and Upper Limbs; Pelvis and Lower Limbs; Head and Neck. Skin and dermis. Skin appendages. Bone marrow, spleen, thymus, lymphnodes.
