At the successful conclusion of this module, you should be able to demonstrate the following module level learning outcomes (MLOs):
MLO.1 Knowledge & Understanding • Describe the regional organization of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis. • Explain the spatial relationships among organs, vessels, nerves, and muscles. MLO.2 Application of Knowledge • Identify regional structures and their relations using models, diagrams, and digital tools. • Apply topographic knowledge to interpret surface and sectional anatomy. MLO.3 Autonomy of Judgement • Distinguish correct spatial and relational anatomy in different regions of the body. MLO.5 Learning Skills • Use learning resources to integrate regional and systemic anatomy.

Metodi didattici
Teaching methods include lectures, discussion and guided independent study. Lectures present key concepts (supports LO.1, LO.2) and include interactive discussion of clinical areas and research themes (supports LO.2-3). Teaching will include guidance to help you prepare for the exam (supports LO.5) and throughout you will be presented with references to further readings and other materials on the e-learning platform to support your development (supports LO.5). Teaching on this course is enhanced by our visiting Professors, international experts, who will provide seminars on clinical and research areas (LO.3).

This module will, integrated with the Human Anatomy A and B modules will introduce you to topographic, which studies layering structure of anatomical regions, their interposition, projection on the skin, relation to the skeleton, blood supply, innervation and lymph flow.
