This course aims to provide students with [1] principles of developmental psychopathology, [2] a conceptualization model for clinical cases, [3] knowledge of the main diagnostic categories, [4] insights into specific techniques (e.g., projective tests), [5] research methodology in the field of developmental psychopathology, [6] principles of collaborative assessment and videofeedback.
Prerequisiti
Basic knowledge of developmental psychology is an appreciable, yet nonmandatory, prerequisite.

Lectures and interactive discussions on clinical cases and scientific papers.
Verifica Apprendimento
The evaluation method is written exam. The content includes both slides and suggested bibliography.

Contenuti
The course is organized into 4 sections. Section 1 (principles) introduces the basic principles of developmental psychopathology from a perspective inspired by dynamic systems and infant research. Section 2 (method) introduces an evolutionary view of developmental psychopathology and major diagnostic categorizations. Section 3 (applied research) introduces neuroscientific research paradigms in developmental psychopathology. Section 4 (clinical practice) introduces the methodology of collaborative assessment and video feedback through clinical cases and role-playing.
