The objective of this clinical internship is to enable students to achieve knowledge and skills in the clinical and scientific fields of oral rehabilitation of gnathological patients managed by cognitive behavioral therapy, occlusal splints or with finalization through fixed prostheses and implant prosthetics.

Teaching Methods
Clinical internship under tutorship of the branch professor in the Gnathology section of the fixed prosthesis department. Assistance to the main diagnostic and therapeutic dental operations in the field of gnathology, prosthetic rehabilitation, including implantology: first dental examination, carrying out a complete physical examination under tutoring; management of the unit, compilation of the medical record, scheduling the daily meeting agenda and recalling patients.
Assessment Methods
Learning is verified by discussing rehabilitated cases. The student must explain the theoretical and rational assumptions underlying the diagnostic-therapeutic choices made.
