The goal of this clinical internship is to enable students to achieve basic knowledge and skills in the clinical and scientific fields of gnathology.
Course Prerequisites
The frequency of the propedeutic teachings of previous years
Teaching Methods
Clinical internship under tutorship of the branch professor in the Gnathology section of the fixed prosthesis department. Assistance to the main diagnostic and dental operations in the field of gnathology: first dental examination; management of the unit, compilation of the medical record, scheduling the daily meeting agenda and recalling patients.
Assessment Methods
Learning is verified by discussing the cases examined. The student must explain the theoretical and rational assumptions underlying the diagnostic setting.
