The course offers a wide range of notions about some representative literary works from Baroque to Realism. Students should be able to understand and describe analytically the literary works considered.

Basis knowledge concerning history of German literature (periods, genres etc.), literature analysis. Language level: B2

Lectures based on powerpoint slides, written texts, audiovisual material and seminars.
Assessment Methods
The examination will be held in German and will assess the students' knowledge of the course.

The course examines German literature from Baroque to Realism. Aim of the course is providing students with detail knowledge, translation and analytic skills concerning interpretation.

An active participation will be appreciated and finally considered. Eventually recorded lessons will be uploaded on Kiro. These recordings don't substitute lessons. For foreign students: Italian will be used in translation and for further clarification of the concepts expressed. Some special categories of students may contact directly the teacher for eventual program reductions. Remote assistance is also provided for them.
