Knowledge of the rational and historical bases of psychometry, knowledge of the principles of measurement and the contexts of application, comprehension of the procedures for administering some types of measurement tools in the context of developmental psychopathology, knowledge of how to interpret the measurement results and their representations.

Assessment Methods
Learning is verified through an individual written test (20 multiple choices questions and 2 open questions). The evaluation of the test is carried out out of thirty. The content includes both slides and materials (scientific articles) suggested during the course. The exam assesses how the student has integrated the knowledge acquired during the lectures and exercises and the level of achievement of the training objectives of the course. The final evaluation takes into account the degree of depth and understanding of the topics presented, the use of an appropriate scientific language and the ability to think critically

There is no reference textbook. Bibliography (scientific papers) will be suggested during the lectures.
Contents
The following topics will be covered during the course: - the historical and scientific origins of measurement in psychology and rehabilitation sciences; - Contexts of measurement in developmental psychopathology; - Interpreting measurement results in research and clinical practice; - Measurement and change in rehabilitation sciences.
