With theoretical-practical lessons, students are introduced to the most suitable whitening method, starting from filling out the chart, informed consent, photos, and knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages.
Course Prerequisites
Aesthetics has become a fundamental element for a growing number of patients, having a white and bright smile is increasingly a real business card. Therefore, teeth whitening has evolved over the years, acquiring an important role in dental practice. This teaching aims to provide the student with all the theoretical and practical knowledge to best deal with the aforementioned method, thus managing to carry out the treatment with full awareness and knowledge of any complications, first identifying the type of patient to be treated, proposing the most suitable whitening method, knowing the various techniques and maintenance over time.
Teaching Methods
The activity is carried out in person in a single group with a theoretical part and then a practical part on the patient and mannequins
Assessment Methods
The exam includes a frontal interview to verify knowledge of the subject
